The AnyTIME AnyWEAR Dress by Sally Allen

Aren’t we lucky with this gorgeous weather we are having but with a change of weather comes a desire to change our wardrobes. However, we don’t have that extra bit of money to go on a mad shopping spree (nor the accessibility to the shops themselves!) Enter the Anytime, Anywhere dresses by Sally Allen that do it all for the price of just one item! It’s the perfect choice for right now and trust me you won’t need anything else in the wardrobe!

So many looks can be created from just one garment. A collection of 2 styles (maxi £59 and short £48) in 3 colours (cobalt blue Eva, classic black Audrey and picasso abstract print Paloma). Suitable for all seasons and occasions from gardening to walking the dog to going to the beach, to lunch, dinner, cocktails and even events.

There are matching shawls too (£24) which you can mix and match with the colour scheme and take it from day to night. It’s also a great way if you prefer to cover up your arms to have a matching shawl, or even make it part of the dress itself.

Here’s how I styled the dress on a recent trip to Clevedon. I’ve linked all the pieces as I describe them and then you can shop the whole collection at the bottom of the page.

The Eva maxi for daytime – I wore this on a sightseeing day trip to Clevedon Pier. When it was a little chilly the shrug was very useful! I tied it across like a wrap around dress so it looked like part of the dress but you could also wear it as a cover up shawl. I teamed this style with casual boots.

The Eva maxi dress

The Eva maxi dress transitions so easily into evening.  I simply took off the shrug and let the gorgeous dress flow down when we went for drinks at our favourite wine bar The Cellar.

The Eva short is perfect work wear. Such a gorgeous cobalt blue colour which can take you from office to drinks in a heartbeat. I popped a shirt under it for the day and a pair of tights but you could just as easily style it with a belt, necklace and heels for a night out. Perfect for a cocktail bar, the colour will have heads turning it’s so stand out!

Next up, The Audrey short for dog walking. The weather had turned and looked as if it might rain. No worries I just slipped the Audrey short over a polo neck and some black tights and popped on a bobble hat and some wellies. It’s also the perfect LBD for any occasion. You could style it similarly to how I have for the long version (see next paragraph below), just add bling!

The Audrey maxi – the perfect LBD, Long Black Dress haha! There are so many ways you could wear this dress from a similar style as the short version above with boots and a polo underneath for boho vibes or literally to a ball. It’s a great event dress just accessorize to the max. I went for a statement gold belt, gold sky high heels and a gold head band for a dinner and dance. The black Audrey shawl makes the perfect shoulder cover up if it’s a bit chilly to and from an event, you could even add a pop of colour by putting on a contrasting Eva or Paloma shrug.

The Paloma maxi –  I just can’t get enough of the colour and pattern of the Paloma style. It’s so different and bold, I received a lot of compliments from people saying how fun and happy it was. For me it’s simply the perfect summer maxi dress, from festival to beach cover up. You can go from sitting on a beach and paddling in the sea to heading out to a sea front restaurant on holiday.  Plus the pockets are fabulous for popping your phone and purse in so no need to carry a huge bag if you’re nipping to the beach cafe! And in the winter months all it needs is a polo neck underneath.

Another great way to wear the Paloma maxi is to make it look like a maxi skirt. I added a red polo over the top and then layered it with the blue Eva shrug.

That’s the thing about the Paloma pattern is that there are so many colours to work with and pick out to match with other garments, the yellows, blacks, green even, white and my favourite, red! For The Short Paloma when we went into town for lunch and a spot of shopping I just added over the knee boots and a pop of a red polo neck underneath.

I went the extra mile and added a red beret too! Sally Allen has a great selection of beret’s in the shop including this red one and a yellow one too which would tie in perfectly! And of course the Paloma short also makes the perfect summer daytime dress too, ideal for this great weather we are having!
