As March 29th gets ever closer, we are all rushing around to ensure our gardens are up to scratch to entertain our rule of 6 visitors! Throughout lockdown the UK has seen a huge increase in DIYers and people making home improvements with Kingfisher Group who own B&Q and Screwfix saw a pre tax profit increase of over 600%! The Office for National Statistics has said that spending on home improvements and garden furniture has helped retail sales increase by 2.1% in February.
So I’ve selected 9 bargain buys to spruce up your outside space and here they are!
1. Arosa Steel Gazebo from The Range £99.99
Ok starting with the most expensive haha, get it out of the way! BUT still the cheapest gazebo I found and as gazebos go, not a bad price! Perfect for putting a table and chairs under, a plant in the corner and maybe a nice outdoor rug. Speaking of rugs…
2. Grey Kamina Aztec print outdoor rug from Very £29.99
This one is 80X150cm but there are more sizes available online too. Top with a couple of floor cushions and it’s picnic perfect!
3. 20 warm white carnival solar festoon lights from Lights 4 Fun £34.99
Because what insta worthy garden glow up doesn’t have some kind of fairy lights! A must have! They also have a whopping 8 different function settings and can turn on as darkness creeps in, fancy!
4. Atsu brass hanging planters from Nkuku – small £22.95 large £34.95
I absolutely love Nkuku, they are based in Devon near my hometown and have the most amazing boutique store that’s full of inspo left, right and centre! These brass hanging planters caught my attention because of their stand out colour, they would look great simply hanging off a nail in the wall!
5. Ipanema round 4 seater garden table, from Argos £75
Probably one of my favourite items! And if I wasn’t planning on upcycling my current garden table and chairs and painting them pink, then I would be buying these in a heartbeat! Available in yellow or grey which are coincidentally @pantone colours of the year!
6. Linen knitted floor cushion, available from HomeScapes in loads of colours! ?
When I mentioned floor cushions earlier, this is what I meant! A couple of these and that outdoor rug and you’re good to go really!
7. Three oval trough planters from Cox and Cox £95
Ahhhh, the classic power of 3! How good do these look! Line them up along a wall or place them in beds on a layered garden. Fill with your favourite blooms and enjoy!
8. Chicago fireball fire pit from B&M £25
If they did delivery I would have already bought this!!? Insane! B&M have a lot of affordable outdoor furniture and accessories now so I think it may mean a day trip for a little weekend browsing!
9. Toscana large white outdoor mirror from The National Trust £60
I absolutely love that The National Trust are selling garden products! And at affordable prices too! I will be sprucing up my patio over the coming weekends and I think this would look gorgeous on a wall I’m planning on painting white!
