Lauren Pope - TOWIE trend setter

The end of another dramatic season of TOWIE! The finale aired a couple of weeks ago and what a season it was, the rollercoaster relationship of newbies Chloe and Jake, the will they won’t they romance between Chloe Simms and Elliot (they will, they will!!) and (SPOILER ALERT) the moment we’ve all been waiting for since season one – it’s officially on between Arg and Lydia, well back on!

But there was one cast member who has been a busy bee on and off screen, Miss Lauren Pope has become the fashion queen of Essex itself! Here there and everywhere with fashion lines, accessories and her collection of luscious locks. Before shooting to stardom on ITV’s hit show, Lauren was a successful DJ and model and being from Torquay in Devon, as a fellow Torquinian (yes, that’s really what we’re called) I support her 100%! In fact I’ve been buying her hair extensions since I was 16 from department store Hoopers in Torquay before even knowing who Lauren was and now they’ve become so popular I have to order well in advance of actually needing them! The hair extension line for Hair Rehab now has even more colours and lengths as well as hair accessories such as fishtail plaits, ponytails and buns.

More recently Popey has worked alongside celebrity clothing website ‘In The Style’ (also selling Charlotte Crosby’s ‘Nostalgia’ line) to market her very own fashion brand ‘It’s by LP’ which just launched the Spring/Summer collection. Being the all round entrepreneur she is, Lauren modelled the outfits herself for the website and she looks stunning! A mix of glamorous and sophisticated, Lauren’s line includes everything from mini dresses to matching 2 pieces, figure hugging tailored items to floaty florals – a little something for every shape and size.

She has played with the sexy sixties looks of the Gingham print cami dress and geometric 60’s style dress both of which would look super cute on a summers day or for drinks with friends, once we’ve got the summer legs ready! The midi skirts are also gorgeous, especially when teamed with the white lace crop top – in fact I can think of sooo many garments the crop top would look great with! The salmon colour also features a lot throughout the collection, such a refreshing spring tone and Lauren is once again bang on trend with the scuba pocket skirt, trench coat and scuba dress, you too can look pretty in pink!

Lauren isn’t just clothing crazy, as I mentioned she’s quite the entrepreneur, as if clothing wasn’t enough Miss P has just released her collaboration with accessoryo to design hats, bags, jewellery and sunglasses that reflect her personal style as well as being affordable, elegant and timelessly chic. Now I do love a hat, so my favourite piece has to be the Mallard Green floppy hat with peacock feather!
