Louise Roe has always been a familiar face in fashion, after starting out as a fashion journalist she expanded into the world of presenting and wow has she got some fun, foxy and naturally, fashionable shows under her belt! You of course recognise her lovely face from the likes of BBC’s The Clothes Show, E! perfect catch, Fit for Fashion and of course Plain Jane which sees her make-over young ladies who need a little encouragement to find their confidence when it comes to style.
Ever the inspiration for girls and women alike, Louise’s sense of generosity and ability to help others has always been notable and it’s these positive vibes that have ultimately formed the essence of her new book – Front Roe – How to be the leading lady in your own life.
Many of us can admit to unfortunately not always putting our own happiness first or letting the dark thoughts of ‘I’m not good, clever, or pretty enough’ take over our confidence. Louise’s book is a guide to reinstating that self confidence and belief in every aspect of life and yes of course fashion plays a large role along the way!
The book launch party was on Wednesday 1st April at the Ralph Lauren store on New Bond Street which saw a crowd of famous faces attend including ex Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, fellow presenting friend Laura Whitmore, Chelsea fashionista Rosie Fortescue and house DJ for the night Zoe Hardman to name just a few. Louise chose to support the Ralph Lauren style and sported a gorgeous red flowing ‘draw cord skirt’ from the brand, teamed with a simple cable jumper and her new, casually curled locks.
But more about THAT book – This ultimate Style Guide will hopefully answer many of your fashion questions, for instance what to wear on a date, what to wear on a job interview and what to wear that best suits your shape and size but more importantly personality! You should take your own taste, comfort and creativeness into consideration when it comes to fashion. If you’re not comfortable in an outfit, don’t wear it, you’ll just look uncomfortable! Louise oozes style tips, treats and tricks for all aspects of lifestyle, from make-up magic to decorating your home interior and finding the right perfume for you (which is always a difficult one! I’m never one to change my fragrance, I’ve been using the same one for about 10 years, so hopefully the book will help us experiment with scent!).
What’s more is Louise adds a personal touch to the book through sharing her own stories, style secrets and mishaps to inspire but also emphasize the fact that humour and fun plays a huge part in fashion and acts as a gentle reminder to us all to not take ourselves too seriously!
This must have bible for every girl’s coffee table is out on April 7th 2015 and is available to pre-order on Amazon NOW! Just click here.
